YBDXPI SSB Contest 2024 April 6 @ 00:00 - April 7 @ 23:59


Date

YBDXPI SSB Contest would be held on April, 6th 2024; 00:00 UTC – April, 7th 2024; 23:59 UTC. ( 1st week April )

Objective

For amateurs around the world to contact as many other amateurs in as many Entities and Prefixes as possible using the SSB modes.

Band

All Amateur Radio Band from 160m – 10m Excluding WARC.

Mode

Mode in use Only SSB.

Contest Exchange

RST and Serial Number.

Scoring

The final score is the sum of QSO points across all bands multiplied by sum of multipliers across all bands.

Every station can only have 1 QSO on each band with the same station;

For Indonesian Station:
QSO with Indonesian Station, 1 point
QSO with DX Station, same Continent 2 points
QSO with DX Station, different Continent 3 points
QSO with YBDXPI member, 5 points regardless the member’s country
For DX Station:
QSO with same country, 0 point, but still can get a multiplier
QSO with DX Station, same Continent 2 points
QSO with DX Station, different Continent 3 points
QSO with YBDXPI member, 5 points regardless the member’s country
DUP QSO only count as one QSO and no penalty;
Error in writing exchange, callsign, time difference more than 1 minute and Not In Log (NIL) do not get points and multiplier;
Multiplier:
Prefix Multiplier, count as 1 on each band
Country (DXCC) Multiplier, count as 1 on each band
YBDXPI member can be obtained at N1MM section list.

Contest Categories:

Single Operator All Band, only 1 person performs all operations in the contest, No restriction on operation time and changes in band. However, only 1 signal can be emitted at a time.

Multi Operator All Band, more than one person performs operations in the contest, No restriction on operation time, changing bands on emitting simultaneously on different bands.

Check log is a log sheet sent by participants but not to be included in the judging.
Any logs submitted after the deadline automatically become check logs.

Reward

All participants (except check logs) are entitled to an electronic certificate which can be downloaded at the following link.

Plaques are awarded only if there are more than 10 participants in each category

QSO Report

Submit your QSO Logsheet in Cabrillo Format from N1MM;
Make sure to double check header logs, frequency/band, date and time, your opponent callsign, and contest exchange in your log sheet are included;
Incomplete content will cause participants to be redirected to the check log category;
Rename your log sheet with “your_callsign.log”;
Submit your log through https://contest.ybdxpi.net/log-submit/ you will receive confirmation via email and your submitted log can be found in https://contest.ybdxpi.net/received-logs/;
You can resubmit your log if necessary anytime before the due date;
The deadline for submitting logs is 7 days from the end of the contest.

General Rules

You must write the callsign and the same category on the log sheet that you used during the contest;
Participant is allowed the use of DX Cluster, but self-spoting or ask other people to spots your call is forbidden;
Remote operation is permitted as long as the distance between the radio, antenna and other equipment is not more than 500 meters;
Upholding sportsmanship;
In addition, you must also comply with the rules/regulations in your country;
The committee reserves the right to impose disciplinary penalties for violations committed by participants;
The decision of the committee is final.

The contest will be coordinated by the Republic of Indonesia Amateur Radio Organization (ORARI) LOCAL BANDUNG CITY, with Hersuparyoto (YC1OHE) as the local chairman, and the Contest Manager Rusdi Lee (YB0AOM).
